welcome

We are a lively family church aiming to bring a warm welcome to visitors. We aim to make everyone feel at home and welcome at CCBC, whatever your background or tradition.

CCBC Morning Services

School (AM Location)

God is moving here and adding to our numbers (not necessarily daily, but we pray for that!). The church building won't hold us all and so in September 2009 we moved!

Our morning services are held at Chipping Campden School, Cidermill Lane, Chipping Campden. GL55 6HU. We commence at 10.30am with praise prayer and worship, Junior Church and loads of good things!

Our congregation currently numbers between 200 and 250, and is a complete mix across all ages from our youngest of just a few weeks old and our oldest being over 90 years and everything in between!

The services vary and are usually led by one of our ministers or leaders. The message and teaching is scriptually based and will often follow a theme or book.

We are currently undertaking a series in our morning service which looks at the biblical principles behind the Vision of our church. What does our vision statement really mean, how does it fit with what the bible teaches, is it just words or is it a proper working vision for Gods people in Chipping Campden Baptist Church at this time?

Our worship is led by one of our worship leaders and group, leading us in a variety of traditional and contemporary worship. Where possible we utilise technology and often include aspects of multimedia within the service.

Most of all, we are a welcoming congregation who love the Lord Jesus and are seeking God's will for each one of us and for the future generations who will follow.

ALL OUR SERMONS AND OTHER TALKS ARE AVAILABLE ON THE RESOURCES AND MEDIA PAGE ON THIS WEBSITE

Our vision is...

  • Proclaiming Jesus Christ to people today
  • Making disciples.
  • Building God’s Kingdom
  • Praying for Revival
  • Planting new churches
  • Reaching the nations

On Sunday 29th January, our guest speaker will be Rachel Hickson

CCBC Evening Services

Church (PM Location)

Our evening service is at 6.30pm in the Baptist Church, on the High Street just behind HSBC bank. GL55 6AU.

The evening service is more informal, with extended worship along with time and space to connect with God. We have a variety of sound Bible based teaching, along with services for healing and testimonies.

The evening service is a great opportunity to come and just "be". We welcome people from other churches and the evenings often prove to be the time to meet with God in so many ways.

2012 at CCBC

We look forward to 2012 with excitement and expectancy of what God will be doing in our midst. There are many events going on, apart from our regular services.

Our young people will be getting together for another Send the Fire event on 14th January for a time of teaching, worship and also getting out into the local community to build on the work which has been going on throughout 2011.

We continue our links with overseas mission with visits to Hyderabad, India in January / February with a group of ladies travelling over to run a conference for 200 ladies and their children! A youth group will also be going over later in the year.

Another group will be travelling to Turkey in the spring to work with our long term missionaries out there, to give them love and support in their difficult work.

At home, we continue to reach out to the local community with weekly Coffee & Chat on a Monday morning, and the Care Cafe on the first Saturday of each month.

Our next Alpha course will start in the spring. At least 36 Alpha courses have been run at CCBC and on each course, someone has come to accept Jesus into their lives! We pray for more!

Our weekly services continue in the school in the mornings and in the church in the evenings, along with many small groups which meet in all different places and times. We also have many prayer meetings - Hungry for God is a monthly prayer meeting where everyone is invited to come and cry out to God to move here, to move in the town and surrounding areas, to simply cry out for MORE!

There's lots going on, but JESUS remains the reason, the centre of everything that we do
