• We set an annual budget which is agreed at the Church Vision Meetings in November and February with normally at least 20% given to other ministries as a gift from the Church

• Income comes from the regular giving of church members and visitors and we seek to balance income and expenditure in any one calendar year – whilst this usually balances fine we experienced budget deficits in 2008 and 2009 which were covered by reserves from earlier years where due to the generosity of giving we had been able to establish surpluses

• The 2011 budget is slightly over £190,000 which is marginally less than the budget for 2010

• We don’t normally have legacies so the vast majority of our income comes from people who attend the services and very occasionally from other activities

• When we look at finance it is important to recognise there is no implied obligation to give – our sole priority is that people come to know Jesus and an increasing work of God in their lives through the ministry of Phil and the team
