Christians have been meeting here for over 300 years. You will find us in the High Street, just off the Square in the centre of the beautiful Cotswold market town of Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, England.

God has blessed us with growth for a number of years, enabling us to plant two new churches, in Shipston on Stour and Bidford on Avon, both of which are now thriving churches in their own right. Our morning congregation has continued to be blessed and in September 2009 our morning service was moved to the main hall in Chipping Campden School. God continues to bless us and we have seen many new people come to the church, along with baptisms and healings. It is not about a building - it is about God!

More and more people from all walks of life and a wide age range are finding out that Chipping Campden Baptist Church is an exciting place to be, and encountering the love of God powerfully in their own lives. We would like to share God’s love with others in our church life, families, community, social lives and places of work. We meet as part of God’s family to learn more about him and express our worship to him together.

Our services are informal using the words of songs to offer our thanks and worship to him. We also listen and speak to God in prayer. Through Bible based sermons, we seek to apply its meaning in our lives.

In fact, we are really enthusiastic about proclaiming Jesus Christ in a contemporary way that is relevant to people today........

Chipping Campden Baptist Church is a member of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and the Southern Counties Baptist Association, the Evangelical Alliance, and Churches together in Chipping Campden.

CCBC is also part of the family of Cornerstone Churches, a cluster of independent Baptist Churches who share a common faith, leadership and resources, believing that we can accomplish far more by working together that by working alone.

In April 1998 Cornerstone was formed as a vehicle for church planting. On 7th February 1999 Stour Valley Baptist Church was planted in Shipston on Stour from Chipping Campden Baptist Church. Hook Norton Baptist Church joined the family in September 2003 and Bidford on Avon Baptist Church was the second church plant on 11th September 2005.
