Ever wondered what it's all about?

Over 2 million people in the UK and 10 million worldwide have now attended an Alpha course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world.

Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day  away.

It is low-key, friendly and fun – and is supported by all the main Christian denominations.

Over the last few years we and our fellow Cornerstone Churches have run many Alpha Courses.

Why not take this opportunity to explore the meaning of life?

Alpha is an opportunity for us to share our Christian faith with anyone who is willing to listen. Alpha is totally free of charge and is for absolutely everybody:
         Christians who want to get to grips with the basics of our faith
         People who are eager to find faith in Jesus
         People who just don’t understand what Christianity is all about
         People who have questions they would like us to answer.

Alpha is a series of ten sessions. Each session starts with a meal. There is then a short talk and presentation followed by an opportunity to ask questions and discuss anything arising from the session you wish. After the Alpha course there is no obligation whatsoever. Obviously we hope that you will understand the faith we have and want to share it with us, but that is entirely a matter for you.
