FINANCE
How does it work ?
Our treasurer, Malcolm Hayes explains:
“We set an annual budget which is agreed by the Church Vision Meeting with normally at least 20% given to other ministries as a gift from the church.
Income comes from the regular giving of church members and visitors and we seek to balance giving and expenditure in any  one year – this usually works out fine.
We don’t normally have legacies so typically our income comes from people who attend the services and other activities.
When we talk about finance it is important that there is no implied obligation to give – our sole priority is that you know God in an increasing way and that he touches your life through the ministry of the church. “
