Angling for Grace have a heart for unsaved women in our area. Twice a year we organise a luncheon with a guest speaker and urge ladies to bring friends who are not yet Christians.

Past speakers include Fiona Castle, Fiona Hendley-Jones, Rosemary Conley, Anne Atkins  - all of whom have spoken of their own experiences and their love for God.

A TELEVISION and radio presenter, researcher and writer is to be the guest speaker at a Christian ladies lunch at the Dormy House Hotel, near Broadway, next month.

Michele Guinness, who was brought up in a practising Jewish family, will speak at the Angling for Grace Ladies' Lunch on Wednesday, March 16, at 12.30pm.

As well as her TV work, for two years Michele presented her own three-hour, daily lunchtime programme on BBC local radio. She has also worked as a press and communications officer and contributes regularly to several magazines and newspapers, including Christianity and The Church of England Newspaper. Michele has written 11 books, mainly biographical and mainly from her uniquely Jewish perspective. Chosen, published in 2007, is a rewrite and update of her best-selling autobiography Child of the Covenant, first published 25 years ago, which has sold more than 350,000 copies.

Michele is married to Peter, vicar of St Mark’s, Gillingham.

The last ladies' lunch with Rosemary Conley last year, organised by ladies at Chipping Campden Baptist Church, was a sell-out.
